[Commonplace book], [early 18th century].

Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of religious items, consisting of two versified psalms, dated 1702; a hymn; an excerpt from a prophecy by Bishop James Ussher; several religious poems; a copy of a sermon preached by Matthew Mead of Stepney; and a dialogue titled Severall remarkable sentences of the late Reverend Mr Thomas Coal taken from him on his death bed Sept 1697. Dos-a-dos, the manuscript contains several medicinal recipes.
